Congratulations to New Tenant Laura Newton
Laura Newton will be taken on as a new tenant at 11 Stone Buildings once she has completed her pupillage in September.
Laura Newton studied Law at the University of Durham, graduating with First Class Honours in 2007. She then undertook the BCL at St Catherine's College, Oxford and obtained a Distinction. Her courses comprised Restitution, Corporate Insolvency, Global Comparative Financial Law and Criminal Justice & Human Rights. Whilst studying for the BVC, Laura taught at University College London as a visiting tutor in Tort Law.
Laura received the Allen and Overy Prizes for the Best Performance in Corporate Insolvency Law and for the Best Performance in Global Comparative Financial Law in recognition of her performance on the BCL. She was also awarded the Astbury Scholarship by Middle Temple in 2008.
