Congratulations to New Tenant Philip Hinks

Philip Hinks will be taken on as a new tenant at 11 Stone Buildings once he has completed his pupillage in September.

Philip studied Law & French at the University of Bristol and l'Université de Poitiers.  He undertook the BCL at Brasenose College, University of Oxford, studying corporate insolvency, corporate and business taxation, conflict of laws and restitution.  During his BVC year, Philip lectured undergraduate conflict of laws and postgraduate international contracts at the University of Bristol, and has published pieces in the Lloyds Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly concerning the sale of goods and the Brussels I Regulation, and jurisdiction in general.  Philip is a Lord Denning and Megarry scholar of Lincoln's Inn, and was awarded the Hardwicke Entrance award and the Buchanan prize for his performance in the BVC.
