R3 London & South East regional meeting

The first London & South East Regional Meeting of 2012 was held at Haberdashers' Hall, 18 West Smithfield, London EC1A 9HQ on 26 January 2012 at 5.30pm.
The following topics were discussed:
- Update from the R3 President on Press and Public Affairs.
- Update on developments: 3 day notice for pre packs - proposals from BERR and the Insolvency Service.
- Litigation funding: recent developments and review of proposed changes in the law.
- How can an administrator be validly appointed by a board of directors? Discussion on the Minmar case and subsequent cases following that decision. This session was facilitated by Tina Kyriakides and Marcia Shekerdemian from 11 SB.
