Peter Head Profile
Peter read Music and English at Cambridge before studying the GDL and BVC, for which he was awarded a distinction and an outstanding respectively. He is a Lord Mansfield, Hardwicke and Eastham scholar of Lincoln's Inn. In his BVC year he won the Inn's mooting competition and was awarded the Buchanan Prize. From the College of Law he was awarded commendations in drafting and evidence, and the Tooks Court Prize. In 2008 he came third in the Times Law Awards.
Peter is currently acting as a junior in the following:
- An LCIA arbitration (instructed by SJ Berwin);
- A multi-defendant commercial fraud matter (instructed by Gates and Partners).
Peter also has a busy practice of his own. In addition to general commercial work, he regularly appears in personal and corporate insolvency matters. He also does property work, and is currently instructed in a dispute relating to the extension of a business tenancy under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
